Sohaib Al Obaidi, M.D.
Dr. Sohaib Al Obaidi was born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq. He graduated from Al Mustansiriyah University School of Medicine in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery. He practiced Internal Medicine in Baghdad then moved to the United States to continue his medical education. He finished his residency at Orlando Health in July 2024, and became a Board Certified in Internal Medicine in August and joined the practice in September. Dr. Al Obaidi truly believes in preventive medicine and building a strong relationship between the patients and their physicians is the best way to achieve the optimal health outcomes. His hobbies include watching soccer, movies, kayaking, swimming, cooking and spend quality time with friends and family especially his wife and soon to be three years old lovely daughter in the beautiful city of Orlando.
Douglas Witter, MD
Dr. Douglas Witter was born in Southern California and moved to Central Florida during High School. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. Prior to becoming an MD, he completed a Master of Science Degree in Public Health at the University of South Florida in Tampa.
He graduated from the USF College of Medicine in 1994 and from the Florida Hospital Family Practice Residency in 1997.
Besides office-based Family Practice, he also has experience in Emergency Room Fast Track and in Urgent Care settings.
Dr. Witter has lived in several areas of the country, including the Northeast, Washington state, and Tennessee, but is happiest in the warm weather of Florida.
He enjoys travelling, especially to National Parks, and going to local attractions such as Walt Disney World and the Space Center.
Dr. Witter believes that every patient is unique and strives to develop treatment plans that fit each person individually.
Laura Mendoza, PA-C
Laura Mendoza, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant with a practice focus of preventive care, lifestyle modification, and quality of life. Mrs. Mendoza grew up in Orlando, received her Master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University and attended both UCF and UF for her undergraduate degrees.
She is an active member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Laura specializes in women’s care, endocrine disorders such as diabetes and hypothyroidism, and mental health.
Personally, she likes to spend her time gardening, offshore fishing, and spending time with her family.
